I’m the Co-owner & Founder of Foundation Barbershop. I’ve been cutting hair for 9 years now and have loved the relationships I have been able to build with my clients. I learnt the trade in Vancouver BC in 2014 and have been a barber here in Calgary ever since.

I am passionate about creating a hairstyle that works for you, ensuring you can style it in your day to day life. Opening a shop of my own has always been a dream of mine and I can’t wait for you to see it.

I’m the Co-owner & Founder of Foundation Barbershop. I’ve been cutting hair for 9 years. I started when I was 18 cutting my friend Mike’s hair during a skate competition in Medicine Hat and I’ve been living the dream ever since.

My main goal is to provide a comfortable environment for my clients, to not only create a lasting style but to also create a space where you can relax, whether it’s for a 15 minute trim or just hanging in the shop for an hour. I’ve always wanted to open a business but the dream grew from opening a skate shop to building a barbershop with my friend.

Hair is something creative that is always evolving. Shape, silhouette, and texture is what I like to focus on, but what really keeps me loving hair are the relationships made behind the chair. I strive to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience to find what works and what doesn’t work for your hair and style.

I’m looking forward to building more relationships and cutting more sick haircuts here at Foundation.

Since I was a kid, I have always found that a haircut is something that I could convey to someone about my style and personality at a glance. It’s important to me that a client feels the same way about a tailored haircut that suits their lifestyle.

I believe that a great barber should get you excited about your hair, and that is my goal with everyone who sits in my chair.

Hair is a true passion for me. I love creating haircuts that not only look incredible, but also suit you and your personality. Hair is the easiest and most accessible way for people to express themselves or change the way others perceive them, and I know how much confidence can be instilled with a great look.

I strive to use your hair’s natural texture and movement to curate a hairstyle that is easy to style, versatile and something you don’t (and shouldn’t) struggle with. Any head is welcome - hair, beards or bald!
